This is an article that appeared in the German
motorcycle magazine 'Motorrad', which is
apparently German for motorcycle, no surprises
there then. This article from the December
1979 issue featured Scooter Racing at Lydden,
a meeting on the 13th of October I believe,
with images of racing and shots in the
paddock.
Lambretta dealer Alec Bennet Ltd must have
been pleased with their contract to supply
Esso with 150 Lambretta GP125cc in 1970 for
the third successive year! Where are they
now?
Here are three separate clips, on the left is an
article from a local paper, I think it was the
Portsmouth News in 1977 when Hampshire
union won the British Scooter Club
championship. The other clips are from
Motorcycle News, 1975, 1977 & 1978.
