Chichester And District Model Aero Club
Sunday 23rd December 2018 - The new club website has been launched. First of all thank you to David Gardner who has been looking after the club website for some years but is now taking a well earned rest and handed over the reins to me. As a starting point I have essentially replicated the content of the previous site with some ‘dressing up’ and a few additions. I would very much welcome feedback and suggestions so this site provides what the club members want (within the bounds of my limited website skills). So have a look around, let me have your thoughts, and in time we can shape the site together providing the content, information etc. we would like to find here. David Hayward - Webmaster Friday 24th January 2019 - CADMAC have been invited by Rob Wildeboer the Goodwood Flying School Manager to provide a static display for an open day on the 25th May to celebrate the opening of their new aerodrome building. There will also be an opportunity to fly in the evening. Static display between 10:00 and 16:00. Evening flying after 18:00. Saturday 4th May 2019 - CADMAC again displayed at the annual Tangmere scale model show. A well attended eventwith plenty of visitors taking an interest in our well populated display. Thanks to Ken for managing this show for us andBruce for arranging additional tickets for those that displayed their models. Saturday 25th May 2019 - CADMAC supported the opening of the new Goodwood Aerodrome and Cafe building with a fine static display of club members models. Thanks to all members involved and especially Ken Knox for organising the day.
June / July 2019 - CADMAC hosted two groups of Cadets at Thorney over two evening sessions giving them a taster of flying model aircraft. We had very good feedback from the groups who all enjoyed the experience and there might even be a few budding modellers amongst them. A big thank you to all involved in organising and taking part during the two evenings.
September 7th 2019 - CADMAC Once again supported Family Day at Thorney for the Army, putting on a display of members models and handing out gliders for the younger visitors. Thank you to all the members that turned out to support this event for the club.
November 10th 2019 - CADMAC held their annual Remembrance day event. An enjoyable and successful event. Collection donated to the Royal British Legion.
